We finish our Leviticus series by looking at the Years of Sabbath and Jubilee. God’s heart for his creation means his shalom includes all things, everything sad will come untrue, and in the meantime, we are called to love and serve.
A Leviticus encouragement: Pray this week for the Holy Spirit to help you live with an open heart to God and an open hand to others.

Our Leviticus series looks at festivals and holy days in chapter 23. We learn that the pace of our life reveals priorities, these OT festivals are a picture of Jesus and his ministry, and his offered abundant life goes far beyond effort or systems.
A Leviticus encouragement: In a dehumanizing world, how are you re-creating time and space for rest, worship, good food, and friendships?

Our Leviticus series looks at community ethics in chapter 19. We learn that the Bible challenges our biases, we love our neighbour because we belong to King Jesus, and spiritual formation is a lifelong process.
A Leviticus encouragement: Make a list of the people you see most often, and then write down 2-3 ways that you can practically show love to them.

Our Leviticus series looks at the Day of Atonement. We see how Jesus is both sacrifice and scapegoat, how his death at Calvary covers the world’s sin, and how we need to follow Jesus outside the camp and into a broken world.
A Leviticus encouragement: How are communion services deepened and shaped by these OT pictures of sin, sacrifice, and atonement?
